The Blasphemy Of The Holy Spirit

Updated: 3 days ago

"It means to say things against Him in anger"

(The Lord Jesus

by prophecy)

It is impossible to blaspheme the Holy Spirit if you love Him

Because you have to hate Him to do it

Example Reference

Matthew 12:22-37

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

22 Then was brought unto {Jesus} one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said,

This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils

{The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Words said in anger against the Holy Spirit}.

25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them,

Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation;

and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

26 and if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out?

therefore they shall be your judges.

28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

29 Or else how can one enter into a strong mans house, and spoil his goods,

except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

31 Wherefore I say unto you,

All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:

but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man,

it shall be forgiven him:

but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him,

neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt,

and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things?

for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things:

and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak,

they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

You're A Baby Christian and

You Don't Know What Blasphemy Is

(Heb. 5:13, 14)

They spoke against God with hate and anger in v. 24. If you think that you've blasphemed the Holy Spirit, but you love Him, then you have not. If you would rather die to be with God than live and think you've blasphemed the Spirit, then you have not.

The devil will use that you don't know to torture you. If you think you have and you want to die and are depressed because you think you're going to hell, then you need to know this truth because this truth will set you free from the torture of the devil making you want to commit suicide because you think you're going to hell for the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

John 8:31-47

Authorized (King James) Version

Free from Sin and Satan

by the Word of Truth

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,

If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man:

how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

37 I know that ye are Abrahams seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father.

Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abrahams children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

40 But now ye seek to kill me,

a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

41 Ye do the deeds of your father.

Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me:

for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.

He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

47 He that is of God heareth Gods words:

ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

You're a baby Christian and you don't know what blasphemy of the Spirit is. Once you hear the truth from God's word about it, it will set you free from Satan's hold on your mind. Until then, Satan has your mind, not you and he is trying to turn you into a mental case with the thought that you're going to hell because you've blasphemed the Holy Spirit. But today, you understand through the Holy Spirit that you don't know, and that you have not committed the unforgiveable sin.

I'm using Jn. 8:31-47 because the context is about freedom from the devil through the truth. The freedom Jesus is talking about in this passage is written while in a fight with the devil. The freedom is God's word or truth from the devil's words or lies. Lies that you've committed the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and that the Holy Spirit has departed, and you are about to die and go to hell. None of that is true because the blasphemy of the Spirit is done in anger, and it means to say something intentional against the Holy Spirit. What you think is your mind blaspheming the Spirit, is the devil talking to you. He's cussing at the Holy Spirit in front of you and lying to you and trying to kill you and burn you in hell. But it can't because you haven't committed the unpardonable sin.

Today, Christ's truth sets you free from the devil's depression and lies because the truth is that you love God and haven't said or thought anything intentional against the Holy Spirit.

The Baptism into the Holy Spirit

Proves that You haven't Committed Blasphemy

If you've been baptized into the Holy Spirit by God and He hasn't left you and you think that you've blasphemed the Holy Spirit, then you haven't because 1) the Holy Spirit hasn't left you and 2) the Holy Spirit makes you love God (Rom. 5:5). If you love God, then it's impossible to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. You can't blaspheme the Holy Spirit if the Spirit is in you, and you love God. The torturing is coming because you love God and think you've blasphemed the Spirit.

If you've cussed at the Spirit in your mind in the devil's presence, that is not blasphemy because you have to say words at Him in anger. There will be no eternal consequences.

The devil is trying to make a victim out of you because you don't know the truth about blasphemy. At this point, you need to call the church for help. If you are losing your mind to the devil and you get desperate to find the truth, that's God and His angels leading you to church for help. You don't need to get on the phone. You can google this "what is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit"? And you will see that it means to speak against the Holy Spirit in anger intentionally like the hybrids of Satan did in Mt. 12:24.

You said, heard or thought something about the Holy Spirit that's making you hurt because it was unintentional. Have you ever disliked someone and said something against them? That's cussing. That's what it means to blaspheme. That's what you do when it's blasphemy against the Spirit. Blasphemy means that you don't like Him and cuss at Him intentionally. If you haven't done that, if all you did was an honest mistake, then it wasn't blasphemy because you love God, don't you?

You're hurting because you think you're losing God the love of your life. It has to be intentional in anger and hostility and hate. Who can hate God like that but the devil's children? That's who blasphemed the Spirit in Mt. 12:24.

The Blasphemy of the Spirit has to be Intentional Words of Anger

(Rev. 13:6)

You're not losing God, your salvation and going to hell because it has to be intentional. In Mt. 12:24, the hybrids there said something about the Holy Spirit that a lot of people say in this life and that I have heard them say it in church, and they are not in danger of hellfire. Why? Because they didn't know the truth about the Holy Spirit. They didn't even know that there was a Holy Spirit (Acts 19:2). So, what they said was in ignorance. It was not intentional. There is no way that you, as much as you want to leave this life in the rapture to live with God, as much as you love the Holy Spirit and God and the Lord Jesus, as much as you want to forsake marriage, and your own life, that you can or have blasphemed the Holy Spirit, child. This is why Christ died and prayed,

"Father, forgive them because they don't know what they're doing" (Lk. 22:34).

You're a baby Christian.

It is impossible to blaspheme the Holy Spirit if you love Him

because you have to hate Him to do it.

Christ Freed us from Sin and the Devil

Hebrews 2:14-15

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood,

{Jesus} also himself likewise took part of the same;

that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

15 and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

1 John 3:8-9

Authorized (King James) Version

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;

for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Colossians 2:13-15

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh,

hath {Jesus resurrected} together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses {sins};

14 blotting out the handwriting of ordinances {the book of the law} that was against us, which was contrary to us {Rom. 7},

and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

15 and having spoiled principalities and powers {of darkness - Eph. 6:10-12},

he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it {the Cross - Acts 26:26, 27/ Jn. 3:14, 15}.

The Devil Leaves When You Go to Church

Like a Vicious Wolf,

The Devil Attacks the Lone Sheep Wandering from the Church Fold

John 10:7-15

Authorized (King James) Version

Then said Jesus unto them again,

Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not,

seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth:

and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

You are a lone sheep wandering back into the world from the church. This is why the devil is attacking you. Like a vicious wolf, he sees you alone and out of church and has come to viciously rip you apart. Christians need to be in church to receive love and encouragement because out of church, you will get beat up in the world by the wolf.

Hebrews 10:24-25

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

24 and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together {in church}, as the manner of some is;

but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day {of Christ's return} approaching.

Matthew 24:43-47

Authorized (King James) Version

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come,

he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready:

for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant,

whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

The Turnaq. The wolf demon. This is the devil that Jesus is talking about in the above Bible passage that eats His church.

Blasphemy is What Enemies Do

When people don't like someone else, they blaspheme them. This means that they say things against them, in anger and dislike. You are God's child, not His enemy. You said or thought something unintentional, and it was a mistake. Jesus said that it has to be words of anger. Those were not words of anger you said. They were words of remorse. Though your words were not blasphemy committed in anger, the religious leaders were in Mt. 12:24.

In Mt. 12:36, 37 Jesus cautions people to be careful about saying things about the Holy Spirit they'll regret. Words spoken in anger against Him like a hybrid of Satan; part serpent and part human. A child of Satan. Any words spoken in anger against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. Be careful what you say, because on judgement day you will stand or fall by your words spoken today.

1 John 3:13-15

Authorized (King James) Version

From the Lake of Fire

To Eternal Life with God

13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren.

He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer:

and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Christians have passed from death to life through faith in Jesus. But people who are Christians and somehow speak like the devil against the Holy Spirit in anger, will not pass from death to life. They will stand in judgement for their blasphemy by Jesus because He says that the blasphemy of the Spirit has eternal consequences. However, this is not the case with you. What you said was said in pain, not anger. You didn't mean it. You didn't know what you were doing. Jesus heard and said to you,

"It means to say things against Him in anger".

That's not your case, is it? But for those who have done this, there are eternal consequences. Your eternal life in heaven just took a reroute back to the lake of fire...

Matthew 12:36,37

Authorized (King James) Version

36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak,

they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Thus, the reason why the devil is trying to turn you into a mental case is because idle words are spoken like a mental case. You love God but you're saying things like you don't. Careless words said in a mental problem called "idle". How could one say things against the Holy Spirit in anger if we love Him? Mental problem. Idleness. Desensitized natural affections. A seared conscience (1 Tim. 4:1, 2).

1 Timothy 4:1-2

Authorized (King James) Version

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly,

that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith,

giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2 speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Idle means "passive" and "apathy". It means you got a carless attitude and you're saying things in a numb and apathetic condition that you don't mean to say. But you said it because you're mental. Words you'll regret. Saying things you don't understand. Just speak God's word like you're supposed to as God's child. You can love God and curse Him if you're idle and passive. That's a mental problem.

Is it possible to love someone and hurt them? Only if you're mental. If you love someone and you're normal, then it is not in you to hurt the one you love. But if you're mental, you can love someone and hurt them. It is possible to love God and hurt Him if you're idle.

God told me what He means by "idle". It means that you won't do nothing to stop what hurts yourself. Let's say that you love cats. In winter in places where it snows, stray cats will crawl into your motors because the motors are warm. The stray cats are trying to keep warm during snowstorms. Most people will go out in the morning and start their motors and kill cats not knowing they're warm and asleep on their motors.

This hurts a cat lover because they killed unintentionally what they love and adore. This turns into a mental problem if you don't lift your hood and check for cats before you start it. If you are passive and idle, you will keep killing cats and hurting yourself because you won't lift your hood and check before you start.

That's an example of idle. You're numb and saying things you should do something to stop. But you're idle and your words are idle and evil and will cost you your eternal home in heaven. God will burn your home out of the sky. You'll see something on fire drop from the sky...God will make sure you see your home in heaven burned out...idle means you're mental; idle and passive and won't do something to stop hurting yourself...

To kill someone or an animal that you love by accident, will make you mental. It will be hard to forgive yourself. You will need to do something to never do that again. Your self is the only one who will be hurt if you don't stop hurting yourself. If you don't do something, like during a storm, open your car door, unlock the hood, close the door and go lift the hood and check, then close the hood, get in and start your car, then you will become passive. Being passive leads to apathy. Apathy means to be in a condition where you stop caring for what you love because you won't do something to stop yourself from hurting yourself. You're hurting yourself by being idle and this pain will turn into apathy, a mental condition where you won't stop hurting yourself. Being lazy or idle makes you mental because you won't do what's good for yourself.

Perimeters

God taught me about "perimeters" a long time ago. He said that only people or animals that love you and that you love will be in your personal space close enough to touch you. An enemy will never get that close because they don't want to get killed by you. So, you need to not hurt anyone in your personal space because they are your friends. We need to love the people and animals that are within our personal perimeters.

What makes a person do or say something that they don't want to do? Idleness. Laziness. Being idle leads to apathy. Idle & apathy are a mental condition of doing things that hurt yourself. If you're idle and you accidentally hurt those in your perimeter, you will become mental. If you don't heal yourself by doing something to stop that from happening again, you will become apathetic to your own well-being. If the devil can use this mental problem to get you to blaspheme the Spirit, he will...idle words...

Lazy & Passive

Idle means to be lazy. A lazy person is passive to their best interests. They pass up opportunities to do good for themselves. This leads to a seared conscience that makes you not do things that you care about and do things that you don't want to do. Pretty soon you're a mess and saying things you'll regret. It's not that you don't care. You do, but you seared your conscience by not doing anything that is good for you.

Seared Natural Affections

Seared natural affections happens when you are lazy & passive to the best interests of others and yourself. Also, you get like this by killing someone or an animal you love by accident. Killing someone you love hurts yourself. Your own ability to love.

Killing an animal you love does the same thing. You hurt yourself to the point that you become seared and instead of the ability to only love them, as in how is one able to say things in anger against the Holy Spirit if we love Him, you get the ability to hurt them while you love them. You become mental & seared.

This comes by killing someone or a pet you love. The cure is to make sure you don't hurt them no more by accident. If you don't, if you're lazy & passive, you can lose your salvation if you act like that toward God and say things in anger against the Holy Spirit (Mt. 12:24).

Proverbs 22:12-13

Authorized (King James) Version

Idle People Make Excuses Instead of Take Care of Themselves

12 The eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge,

and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor.

13 The slothful man saith, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets.

14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the Lord shall fall therein.

Idle people make excuses instead of take care of themselves by taking action for their good. If the cat lover is idle, he/ she will say that because it is snowing that they won't check under the hood for cats like the lazy man won't go to work by saying that a lion is in the streets waiting to eat him. They love the cats and want to save them by lifting the hood during a snowstorm. But they won't because they're idle. This is called apathy. A numb state of carelessness. This is a mental person. These are the kinds of people that blaspheme the Spirit. Jesus calls it "idle words" in Mt. 12:36. But being idle, this is not the case with you. You weren't idle knowing better. You didn't know what you were doing.

There's something wrong with you if you don't look under your hood for cats when it's snowing. People with remote starters are going to have to let go of the luxury of starting their cars from inside their house while its storming outside and go check under the hood first.

It's nice to warm the car up at night during freezing temperature by just pressing a button on your remote starter. Or, when it's storming out; a blizzard, in the morning you want the convenience of starting your car from indoors with the remote. You need to go check under the hood first.

However, others are in danger of hellfire because they're idle and passive instead of springing up in life from God. Doing things that hurt you is idleness. This creates apathy. You're mental. For example, with killing cats you love on accident. What makes you mental is that they love you. That thought kills you inside and makes you mental. Talking against God in this condition will kill you later in the lake of fire...

I can hear your responses to what I'm saying about the meow-meows. But this is what you're doing to the Holy Spirit. He loves you and you're hurting Him and won't stop. It's idle words that He will kill you later for. You can't mock God.

Ok, not cats. What about your kids? You slam the door on your baby's hand and won't do nothing to change what makes that happen cos you're idle. How about the Lord? The Holy Spirit. He's done nothing to hurt you. You speak idle words against Him and won't stop cos you're idle...

Galatians 6:7

Authorized (King James) Version

Be not deceived; God is not mocked:

for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

There Is Something Else About the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit

That You Don't Know

The Penalty Is Death

You Can't Curse God and Live to Talk About It

Leviticus 24:16

Authorized (King James) Version

16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death,

and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.

To Curse God Means to Sin with Your Lips

Job 2:9-10

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

10 But {Job} said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh.

What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?

In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

To Curse God in Your Heart is Forgivable

To Curse God with Your Lips Is Unforgivable Blasphemy

And You Will Die For it

Job 1:5

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

Pray for Your Kids

And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about,

that Job sent and sanctified {his children},

and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all:

for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.

Thus did Job continually {This is called intercession}.

The Root of Bitterness Causes People to Curse God

Bitter & Mental

Isaiah 5:20

Authorized (King James) Version

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil;

that put darkness for light, and light for darkness;

that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Hebrews 12:11-17

Authorized (King James) Version

11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless

afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. 12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

13 and make straight paths for your feet,

lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

15 looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God;

lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

16 lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau,

who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing,

he was rejected {by God}: for he found no place of repentance,

though he sought it carefully with tears.

If you're still stewing over something you thought, or heard or said about the Holy Spirit and you're not dead, then you have not blasphemed the Holy Spirit, child. God kills people who do this. If you've thought a cuss word to the Holy Spirit, it's not cursing God. That means to curse God in your heart. To speak it idly will end your life and your eternal life in the second death, which is the lake of fire.

There is a story from the 90's about three businessmen from New York who cursed the Holy Spirit in public and died within 24-hours. The three men were at a business meeting and cursed the Holy Spirit and went home. They got home and ate and slept and got up the next morning and showered to go to work. When they entered the building, all three dropped dead. They were DOA. Their hearts simply stopped beating. They dropped dead. As soon as they entered the building entrance, they fell but no one else did. There are also many videos on YouTube about stars cussing at God and getting hurt for it. God still kills people today that curse Him with their lips.

An Example of the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit

And Cursing God

Revelation 13:6

Authorized (King James) Version

The Devil's First Son

Rises out of the Sea

And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God,

to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

The devil's son blasphemed the Name of God and shall surely be put to death...

Have you done that? No, you love God and don't know what blasphemy is. You think you've done it but according to Jesus, you have not spoken against the Holy Spirit in anger as Satan's first son did...His time is short...but this is not the case with you, child of God...the devil's first son is the Beast (Rev. 13:1-10). The devil's second son is the False Prophet (Rev. 13:11-18).

The Lake of Fire

The Second Death

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him,

with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast,

and them that worshipped his image.

These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,

where the beast and the false prophet are,

and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.

This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Psalm 2

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

Psalm 2

The Lord Laughs at the Enemy

And Holds them In Derision

The Lord Outsmarts the Devil

And Confounds him into Doing His Will

Ole' Slewfoot

Always Shooting himself in the foot when he tries to shoot at God (Acts 26:14, 15)

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

The kings of the earth set themselves {Rome}, and the rulers {the Sanhedrin}

take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed {Jesus},

saying,Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision

{God laughs because it was He who sacrificed His Son for our atonement, not Rome & the Sanhedrin - Mt. 26:31/Gen. 3:15/ Jn. 3:14-21/ Heb. 9, 10}.

Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath,

and vex them in his sore displeasure

{Rome was converted to Christianity 300 years after Christ was crucified

and collapsed 440 years after Christ was crucified}.

Yet have I set my king {Jesus} upon my holy hill of Zion {Zec. 14}.

I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me,

Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee

{Mt. 1:18-25/ Lk. 1}.

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance,

and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel

{Rev. 19}.

10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way,

when his wrath is kindled but a little.

Blessed are all they that put their trust in him

{Isa. 57:15-21}.

Job 5:12-14

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

12 {God} disappointeth the devices of the crafty,

so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.

13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness:

and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

14 They meet with darkness in the daytime,

and grope in the noonday as in the night.

Revelation 17:16-17

Authorized (King James) Version

16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast,

these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked,

and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree,

and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

People Can Lose Their Salvation

The Holy Spirit Can Depart from the Lord's Anointed

Hebrews 6:1-8

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection;

not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands,

and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

And this will we do, if God permit.

{Because} it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift,

and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance;

seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

{Because} the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it,

and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

but that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected,

and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

Do you know what the Apostle Paul is talking about in this passage? If you do a Bible search for the word "burned", you will also see the Lord talking about "burned" in Jn. 15:6. If you read the passage from v. 1 in Jn. 15, you will see that the context is about "abiding in Christ through His word". How do we abide in Christ's word? We never stop studying it. (Pr. 4:20-27/ 2 Tim. 2:15). Knowing the Bible is also Paul's point in Heb. 6:1-8 above. To abide in the word is seen when he talks about the doctrines in the New Testament in vv. 1, 2. What Paul is saying in this passage is that these basic and foundational doctrines of Christianity are in the Bible, and to not fall away from God means to keep studying about them. To stay in the word. To abide in the word. You can only fall away from God if you stop studying the Bible and forget it. To forget what it says about the basics of Christianity. Staying in the Bible will keep the basics fresh in your mind so that you can't fall away. Rom. 10:17 says that the Bible creates your faith in Jesus. If you stop studying the basics of Christianity in the Bible, you will fall away from God. You will lose your faith instead of grow.

Hebrews 5:12-14

Authorized (King James) Version

12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers,

ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God;

and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age,

even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Romans 10:13-17

Authorized (King James) Version

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?

and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?

and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 and how shall they preach, except they be sent?

as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace,

and bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

17 So then faith {in Jesus as Lord & savior from sin & death}

cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Your Name Can Be Blotted Out of the Book of Life

Revelation 3:1-6

Authorized (King James) Version

3 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write;

These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars;

I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die:

for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent.

If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief,

and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments;

and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment;

and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life,

but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

God Will Blot Out Your Sins

Or Blot Out Your Name

From His Book of Life

Acts 3:19-21

Authorized (King James) Version

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,

when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

20 and he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

21 whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things,

which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
