The Grace Of God

What is Grace?

2 Corinthians 12:9

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

9 And {the Lord} said unto me,

My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,

that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

We Don't Deserve God's Grace

But We Need it

Romans 8:26

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:

for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:

but the Spirit {Himself} maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Have you ever saw someone in trouble and felt something for them and helped them out? Come to find out that others believe that this person doesn't deserve your help. That this person deserves the pain and suffering that they're in. That's an example of what God does for us when He helps us. We don't deserve it, but we need it. Without His grace, we are doomed.

The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us. This means that the holy Spirit does the obeying in us, and we get the reward for it because our actions are on us (2 Cor. 5:10). We reap what we sow (Gal. 6:7, 8).

The Lord turned the plan of the devil for us around on him (Heb. 2:14, 15/ 1 Jn. 3:8, 9). The devil gave us a problem inside that made us our own worst enemy and impossible to obey God. The bond of iniquity and the sinful nature (Acts 8:23/Rom. 7:14-20).

What God did was forgive us through Christ's sacrifice on the Cross for our sins (Heb. 9:12-14; 10:10/ Eph. 1:7/ 1 Jn. 1:7) and then gave us the Holy Spirit to help us obey the Father's requirements to live with Them in heaven (Eze. 36:25-27/ Rom. 8:12, 13/ Gal. 5:16-18). The Holy Spirit does the obeying in us, and we get to heaven for it (Rev. 22:14).

A Personal Testimony

For example,

The Lord has been telling me not to fight in this war against prejudiced cops in my area. I'm from a Federal Reservation in North Dakota and the most racial Americans live right around the Reservations. They are prejudiced against all races. What they do can make people bitter. But the Lord has been visiting me and healing me so that I am happy though there's a war going on. He showed me their bondage to sin in their flesh and they sin in racism because of the lusts of the flesh when it comes to doing good just like I do and like every human being does. So, I have been praying for them and am out of the fight.

My point is that if the Lord didn't detach me from the bitterness that I would be entangled in the bod of iniquity like everyone else is. I would be fighting my own lusts of the flesh like the racists are and would be in a place that is outside of God's will.

The Lord told me not to fight, then came and removed the bitterness and then made me obey Him when I prayed. But I didn't do it. It was impossible to listen to God because of the battle of the flesh (Jms. 4:1-10). The Holy Spirit did it in my body for me and through me and is giving me the reward, because we will be judged by Christ for the things we do in our bodies.

The Holy Spirit does it and I get the reward. The reward is heaven (Rev. 22:14). If the Holy Spirit was not in me, if I was flesh, I would not have had the victory over the flesh. I would be a victim to racists. But now there is an opportunity for me to turn my enemies into friends because of God's love (Pr. 16:7).

As I said in the opening paragraph, the Lord turned things around on the devil when He did this. In the Garden of Eden, the devil gave us a problem in our own bodies that makes it impossible to obey God (Gen. 3). It's called sin and the bond of iniquity. I will next post scriptures about it for your understanding and insight.

The Devil's Work

The Bond of Iniquity

Bondage to Evil Ways

No Way Out

Acts 8:14-24

Authorized (King James) Version

14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

15 who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

16 (for as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) 17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given,

he offered them money, 19 saying,

Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

20 But Peter said unto him,

Thy money perish with thee,

because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God,

if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

24 Then answered Simon, and said,

Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

The Sinful Nature

Romans 7:7-25

Authorized (King James) Version

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid.

Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said,

Thou shalt not covet.

But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence.

For without the law sin was dead.

For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. 10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

13 Was then that which is good made death unto me?

God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good;

that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:

for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23 but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind,

and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Christ Died for Our Sinful Nature

Romans 8:1-3

Authorized (King James) Version

8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,

who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh,

God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

The Holy Spirit Does the Obeying for Us

Inside Our Body

Romans 8:4-17

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us,

who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;

but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:

for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.

Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,

he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies

by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:

but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear;

but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit {Himself} beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;

if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Ezekiel 36:25-27

Authorized (King James) Version

The New Birth

Born Again by The Spirit and the Word

(Jn. 3:1-21/ 1 Pt. 1:23)

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you {the word - Jn. 15:1-3},

and ye shall be clean:

from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you:

and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you,

and cause you to walk in my statutes,

and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

You Can't Do It Without the Holy Spirit

An Offer of Salvation from the Lord

The Sinner's Prayer

The Confession of the Word of Faith in Christ

Romans 10:6-17

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

God's Saving & Healing Power in the Bible

The Word of Faith & Salvation

6 But the {right standing with God} which {comes from biblically created faith} speaks {in this way in the Bible about how to get saved through faith from sin & death}, "Say not in {your} heart, 'Who shall ascend into heaven'"? {Dt. 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down from above). 7 or, "Who shall descend into the deep?" {Dt. 30:13} (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead). 8 But what {does} it {say}? "The word is {near you}. {It is in your} mouth, and in {your} heart {from hearing the scriptures - Pr. 4:20-27}. That is, the word of faith, which we preach. 9 That if you shall confess with {your} mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in {your} heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved {from sin & death}. 10 For with the heart man believes {the scriptures about Jesus giving him right standing before God} and with the mouth confession {of these scriptures about Jesus} is made giving him God's salvation from sin & death through faith in Christ}. 11 For the scripture {says}, "Whoever believes on {Jesus the Son of God} shall not be ashamed" {Isa. 28:16}. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek. For the same Lord over all is rich {in faith & salvation} to all that call upon Him {through the scriptures}. 13 "For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord {Jesus} shall be saved {from sin & death - Joel 2:32}. 14 How then shall they call on {Christ for salvation from sin & death} if {they do not believe in Him}? And how shall they believe in {Christ if} they have not {first} heard about Him? And how shall they hear without a preacher {telling them what the scriptures say about Him}? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent {by God to do this}? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace {with God through faith in His Son Jesus} and bring glad tidings of good things"! {Isa. 52:7} 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For {Isaiah says}, "Lord, who has believed our report {in the Old Testament prophecies that God's Son Jesus is the long awaited Savior from sin & death"? {Isa. 53:1} 17 So then faith {in Christ as the Lord & Savior from sin & death} comes by hearing, and hearing by {what} the word of God {the Bible prophecies say about Him. To get faith to call upon the Lord Jesus for salvation from sin & death, listen to what God's preachers tell you about Jesus & read what the Bible says about Him}.

Got it? What the Holy Spirit is saying in this passage is that to get saved, you need to do verses 9 and 10 highlighted in bold case above. That is, confess with your mouth the scriptures about Jesus being the Lord of sin and death because you believe them, and you will be saved from sin and death by your faith in what the Bible says about Jesus dying and raising from the dead for your sins.

The Holy Spirit is telling you in this passage that if you want to believe in Jesus and be saved from sin and death, then read what the Bible says about Him, because faith in Jesus comes, or, is created in your heart and mouth, when you read the Bible. Read what the Bible says about the Lord Jesus in the New Testament and you will be saved when you tell God and this world that you believe what the Bible says about Jesus. To do this is called the Confession of the Word of Faith in Christ, and the Sinner's Prayer. Let me lead you in the Sinner's Prayer.

The Sinner's Prayer

The Confession of the Word of Faith in Christ the Lord

"Lord Jesus. I believe in You. I believe that you died for my sins and rose from the dead and that you are alive today right here with me now as I tell you that I believe in You.

Please forgive me of my sins through my faith in your shed Blood on the Cross, and please raise me from the dead by my faith in Your resurrection. Thank you, Lord, for saving me from sin and death. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen".

Get out your Bible out and read John, Acts and Romans in the New Testament while you listen to the Playlist below...and know that the tears that flood your eyes when you pray the Sinner's Prayer are coming from the Presence of God. That's God the Holy Spirit you're sensing and that's why you're crying as you pray this prayer. God is love (1 Jn. 4:7, 8) and when you meet Him, you can't but cry around Him. It's called "godly sorrow" (2 Cor. 7:9-11).

Now, I want to use my anointing & authority in Christ to baptize you into the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit is Heaven's guarantee. There are believers, and there are born again believers (Acts 19:1-6). Please pray this prayer below and you will meet God the Holy Spirit instantly...

The Holy Spirit Is Heaven's Guarantee

Ephesians 1:13, 14

Living Bible

{Paraphrased}

13 And because of what Christ did {on the Cross}, all you others too, who heard the Good News about how to be saved, and trusted Christ, were marked as belonging to Christ by the Holy Spirit, who long ago had been promised to all of us Christians.

My Prophetic Intercession for Your Baptism into the Holy Spirit

Since you are reading my Page and hearing Jesus call you to the Rapture here,

I will use my Prophetic Anointing and ask the Holy Spirit to give me a prayer for you

to be baptized into the Holy Spirit NOW.

Read the prayer and receive the Holy Spirit...

"I am using my anointing and authority with Christ to pronounce you dead in Christ

And renewed to life by the Ever-Living Presence of God."

said the Holy Ghost...

"NOW RETURN TO ME AND BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST!"

said the Lord Jesus...

Lord,

You do the loving,

I do the dying...

Romans 6:1-11

Authorized (King James) Version

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:

that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father,

even so we also should walk in newness of life.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death,

we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him,

that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin,

but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

"Not I",

Said the Wise Man.

1 Corinthians 15:10

Authorized (King James) Version

"I Didn't Do It.

The Lord Did".

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am:

and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain;

but I laboured more abundantly than they all:

yet not I,

but the grace of God which was with me.

Galatians 2:20

Authorized (King James) Version

20 I am crucified with Christ:

nevertheless I live;

yet not I,

but Christ liveth in me:

and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,

who loved me, and gave himself for me.

"I Didn't Do It.

Sin Did".

Romans 7:17, 20

Authorized (King James) Version

17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

The grace of God. Remember this insight. That before you got saved, it was not you that sinned. But sin that dwells in you. And when you got saved, it was not you that obeyed God. But the Spirit of grace inside your body. It was not your fault when you broke God's law. And it is to your credit when the Holy Spirit uses your body to obey God for you. The grace of God.

Hebrews 10:26-31

Authorized (King James) Version

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth,

there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

27 but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation,

which shall devour the adversaries.

28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

29 of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy,

who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant,

wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know him that hath said,

Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense,

saith the Lord.

And again,

The Lord shall judge his people.

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

2 Corinthians 13:14

Authorized (King James) Version

14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,

and the love of God,

and the communion of the Holy Ghost,

be with you all.

Amen.
